    • Acid rinse

Hair soaps are soaps for cleaning hair. They are made by saponifying fats and oils with lye. The products have a basic pH value, which is why it is recommended to carry out the so-called 'acid rinse' after shampooing. This involves rinsing with a water-acid solution, such as water mixed with vinegar or lemon.

The acid rinse has many advantages: It closes the hair scales, gives them wonderful shine and prevents limescale from accumulating on the hair. It's very easy to make: just dilute a tablespoon of vinegar or a teaspoon of citric acid in a liter of water.
